General Project Scope:

HOMRICH ended the 2009 year working at the Big House to strategically remove the former 5-story, 20,000 square foot press box in just six weeks. The project consisted of abatement of regulated materials, manual demolition of the southern third of the building and removal of a portion of the roof in a proactive effort to prevent any damage to the new glass-faced press box, which was less than three feet away. The building was abated to remove asbestos, bulbs, ballasts, mercury switches, etc. Two Brokk 180s, two Bobcat S70s and a PC220 were also used to aid in the removal of loose architectural debris, elevated concrete slabs, and debris handling. The project was completed safely, on time and on budget.
