Environmental Health & Safety Manager
HOMRICH has been an industry leader providing demolition and environmental services to clients throughout the Midwest since 1964. We are seeking a qualified Health & Safety Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 2 Years of experience in an Industrial Hygiene atmosphere, involved with Asbestos or Lead/Cadmium
- 2 Years of experience in Construction/Demolition as a Health and Safety Manager
- Must have a strong working knowledge of Health and Safety Plans per EPA & OSHA
- Self-starter with good communication and written skills
- Literate in Microsoft computer applications
- Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Responsibilities:
- Perform site inspections and evaluations for compliance with company programs and to ensure all EPA/OSHA and other regulatory agency required documentation is onsite
- Maintain the Lead, Cadmium, Respiratory, Asbestos, Confined Space, Hazardous Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, DOT, Corporate Safety, and Medical Monitoring and Testing Programs
- Maintain Training and Health records of 100+ employees
- Ensure SDS, Daily Safety Inspection Forms, Training Documentation and Posters are up to date on jobsites
- Conduct Health and Safety Training (i.e. Fit Tests, HAZWOPER, Asbestos Awareness, Lead Awareness, etc.)
- Author site specific Health and Safety Plans
- Author and implement JHAs/TSAs

Junior Estimator
HOMRICH has been an industry leader providing demolition and environmental services to clients throughout the Midwest since 1964. In an effort to continue to support our current clientele, we are looking for a Junior Estimator for our Carleton, Michigan office.
Requirements:
- Construction Management or Engineering degree preferred
- Ideal candidate will be energetic, creative and a hardworking professional
Responsibilities:
- To actively search out, quantify, estimate, negotiate and select projects
- Ability to use Onscreen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Evernote will be required in the daily functions
- Individual will be working in a fast-paced environment, must be a self-starter and be able to work independently
- Individual will be traveling to job sites throughout the Midwest and will be working with a Senior Estimator throughout the bidding process
The position is located in Carleton, MI and requires approximately 25% travel.
Project Manager
HOMRICH has been an industry leader providing demolition and environmental services to clients throughout the Midwest since 1964. We are seeking a qualified Project Engineer/Asst. Project Manager. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Must have 3 to 4 years of experience in supervising demolition projects
- Must be able to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications, and costs
- Proven Construction Management experience
- Must possess strong written, oral, critical thinking and organization skills
- Accounting experience is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all aspects of construction/demolition activities
- Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with safe, quality workmanship that conforms to the original work plan and specifications
- Maintain a positive relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees
- Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately
- Maintain direct communication with the main office as necessary to report job progress, injuries, accidents, etc.
- Prepare and maintain all required field documentation: e.g., daily sign in sheets, daily reports, incident reports, tool box safety sign in sheets

Welder/Fabricator
HOMRICH has been an industry leader providing demolition and environmental services to clients throughout the Midwest since 1964. We are seeking a qualified Welder/Fabricator. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- Must have extensive experience in MIG, Stick, and must be able to use a cutting torch, plasma cutter, and carbon arc cutter
- Must be able to work independently
Responsibilities:
- Weld on buckets, shears and attachments
- Perform trailer and roll-off box repairs of all types and sizes
- Fabricate and make repairs to equipment as necessary
- Complete all other miscellaneous projects as assigned
